The hours go by
the time’s flying on
and somehow I
have to let you go
My eyes are red from tears of pain
my heart cries out in agony
Bitter songs that open wounds
I can’t say goodbye to you.

I’m in love with you
the more I try to say goodbye
the more I find my love inside

the more I try to leave
the more I find you’re the one I need

The light grows dim
night’s creeping up
do I do the sin
when my heart is lost in love?
Still I wait beside my door
dreamin’ of love and wanting more
Sadness heals this broken trust
but hope still lies within my lust.

Sitting here in this cold dark room
contemplating life and my love for you
Tugging on the strings of my heart
this love is tearing me apart.
