Smile On My Mind

She’s been in and out of my life
for the past seven years
through all the tears.
All this time I wondered why
I’ve never told her how I feel.
She takes me out to the atmosphere
where the sun is bright
and the moon is clear.
She shows me all the things she loves
like the stars at night
and the things above.

She’s always there rain or shine
she’s a pretty girl with a smile on my mind.
Sometimes at night I cry
but she’s always there right by my side.
When she leaves she says goodbye
but she leaves a part of her behind.

She likes to argue with me
and she always wins ‘cause she’s a she
She wants to be an astronaut
so she can fly away from this third rock.
She takes me from this lonely room
so we can dance with the man in the moon
She shows me all the things she does
like climbing mountains while falling in love.

Baby I’ve been running around
maybe I can join you on your cloud
Lately you’ve got me upside down

When she leaves she says goodbye
